The PLAYDRAMA Theatre

The PlayDrama Theatre from Split was founded in 2008 by the renowned theatre figures Elvis Bosnjak and Lina Vengoechea, with the aim of promoting contemporary dramatic texts, both Croatian and foreign. It believes contemporary drama offers one of the most exciting ways of artistically reviewing contemporary life and the challanges we face. At the same time, the stage itself is one of the fastest, most rapidly responsive and interactive ways to engage with and influence the consciousness and perception of people today. By confronting them with social problems, we do not only try to cultivate their sense of responsibility but also their belief that things can be changed. The PlayDrama Theatre will be the first Croatian premiere performance theatre. This production of The Kick will comprise the highly anticipated first production of the PlayDrama Theatre.
